Who Are We?

Green Edge Gardens is a family owned organic farm in rural Amesville, Ohio. All of us at Green Edge are dedicated to producing the highest quality certified organic produce. This agrarian enterprise creates many full-time year round jobs as well as several seasonal and part-time positions. The 120 acres of rolling hills and fertile bottomland is tended primarily by hand. Water for irrigation comes from a series of spring-fed ponds on the property. Greenhouses and grow rooms ensure a year-round selection of seasonal vegetables, micro greens, and specialty mushrooms. This 100% certified organic produce is available to both wholesale and retail customers.

Eight greenhouses ensure a year-round selection of microgreens of many kinds and an abundant supply of other seasonal vegetables and speciality mushrooms.

Vegetables and mushrooms are available in the summer and winter for both wholesale and retail customers.

Meet the Green Edge 'family'...

	Kip & Becky Rondy The proud owners, Kip and Becky have been up to their elbows in agricultural "adventures" for over 25 years.		Dan & Mary Kneier, with daughters Maggie and Cora Dan arrived at Green Edge in '03 and has been farm manager since '04.

	John & Tara Healey John has been working at Green Edge since spring '06. During the week he teaches art at local elementary schools and spends Saturdays on the farm with us.		Cale and Melanie Linscott with children Madeline, Olivia, and Izekial Cale is our mushroom grower. He joined Green Edge in '07.

	Maria Faranacci Maria started here as an intern and was quickly hired when she graduated from Ohio University with a degree in plant biology.		Liz Alexy Liz is our CSA coordinator. She has been a Nutrition and Agriculture Educator for Green Mountain Farm-to-School in Vermont, as well as a WWOOFer in New Zealand. She graduated from Reed College.

	Bethany Carreon Bethany is from Orange Co. California. She came in April as an intern and was hired as a field worker when John left to teach.		Alicia Hulbert Alicia is from Woodsfield, OH. She arrived as an intern in August and has now joined the staff as a full time field worker. Her husband George is finishing a degree in Fish and Wildlife Management at Hocking College.

	Theo Kerr Theo is from Columbus, OH. He joined the staff in late September as our microgreen grower.		The Fall Interns Corey Miller, Diedra Barlow, and Rob Goeller will be with us until Thanksgiving.
